Eurobodalla Tourism Social Media Competitions

Eurobodalla Tourism are giving you the chance to win one of three food vouchers to some of Eurobodalla’s delicious food venues. To enter, visit either our Facebook or Instagram page. 

Terms and Conditions

1. This competition is being promoted by Eurobodalla Shire Council
2. Completion of the entry procedure and participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3. Any questions regarding the competition should be directed to events@esc.nsw.gov.au

Competition period

• This competition commences at 5pm (AEST) Monday 8 March 2021
• This competition ends 5pm (AEST) on Sunday 21 March 2021

Selection of Winners

• This competition is a game of chance.
• The winning entries will be selected at random.
• The number of winning entries will be the same as the total number of prized specified in the competition entry.
• The decision of Eurobodalla Shire Council will be final. 

Prizes

• The winner will be selected by Monday 22 March 2021
• The winner will be notified in writing.
• If Eurobodalla Shire Council is unable to contact a winner after making all reasonable efforts, or the winner does not claim their Prize by Monday 29 March 2021, then that winner will forfeit their prize and no prize will be awarded in lieu.
• It is an entrant’s responsibility to notify Eurobodalla Shire Council if their personal details change during the competition period. If a winner fails to provide a valid or complete address for delivery of the prize, or delivery has not been successful to an address provided the prize shall be forfeited by the winner.
• Prizes are not transferrable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. A prize may only be substituted if the substituted prize is of the same or greater value than the original prize and the winner either agrees in writing, or the original prize is unavailable due to circumstances beyond the control of Eurobodalla Shire Council and reasonable attempts are made to reach agreement with the winner that are unsuccessful.
• The prize for this competition consists of three $100 vouchers to Eurobodalla Shire restaurants (Downward Dog Co, Club Catalina and Dromedary Hotel).
• There will be one winner per voucher, three winners in total.

Eligibility

• Participation in this competition is only open to those persons aged 18 years or over.
• Employees (and their immediate families) of the Eurobodalla Shire Council are ineligible to enter.
• Eurobodalla Shire Council reserves the right, at any time, to verify the eligibility of an entrant and to disqualify any entrant that does not meet the eligibility criteria.
• To the extent permitted by law, Eurobodalla Shire Council (and their respective officers, contractors, employees, agents and representatives) will not be liable for any personal injury, loss (including loss of opportunity), damage (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect or consequential loss), cost, expense or claim arising from or in relation to the competition.

Entry

1. To enter, eligible persons must complete the entry procedure during the competition period.
2. Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms and Conditions will be rejected and any late, incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
3. Entrants may enter more than once, with as many photos as they like per competition. 
4. To enter the competition, participants must ensure they are following one of Eurobodalla Tourism’s social media pages (Facebook or Instagram), comment on the original competition post their favourite place to eat in Eurobodalla, and tag someone in the post that they would enjoy the voucher with.

Consents and warranties on entry

• Records of this competition, as required by the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation, including relating to the distribution of prizes, will be kept by Eurobodalla Shire Council for three years.
• Information about entrants to this competition will be solely used for the purpose of this competition and will not be used for any other purpose without the express permission of the entrant. It will be managed in accordance with the relevant Australian and Victorian regulations governing privacy.
• Eurobodalla Shire Council will make all reasonable efforts to ensure the competition is conducted in a manner that is not offensive and that is not contrary to the public interest.
• This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administrated by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram.  

Variation to Competition

• Eurobodalla Shire Council may in its absolute discretion, but subject to State and Territory laws, modify, suspend, cancel, recommence or extend this competition as appropriate if:
  • for any reason, this competition is not capable of running as planned due to technical, hardware or software failures or interferences, or changes to third party sites or platforms, which affect the administration, operation, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition;
  • the level of interest or participation in the competition is insufficient or there has been some delay in commencing the competition; or
  • the entry procedure, determination of winners or delivery of prizes is prevented hindered or affected by any external agent or event beyond the reasonable control of Eurobodalla Shire Council.
