Mogo Trails - Mogo Mountain Bike Trails
The Mogo Trails project, an exciting venture set to elevate NSW South Coast as a premier mountain biking destination, is progressing towards its grand unveiling in early 2025. With an $8 million investment, this expansive network will feature more than 130 km of freshly built trails designed for all skill levels, from fun paths for beginners to challenging routes for seasoned riders.
Eastern trail network opened August 2024! Hit the dirt more than 70kms of completed trails.
Led by Eurobodalla Shire Council in partnership with Rocky Trail Destination and Next Level MTB, this project not only promises to enhance the region’s natural beauty but also aims to significantly boost nature-based tourism and community engagement. Mogo Trails will build on the success of the Narooma Trails, making the South Coast a mountain bike mecca. This initiative also beautifully illustrates what can happen when community spirit meets support from higher up. Partnering with Forestry Corporation NSW and backed with funding from both federal and NSW Governments, Eurobodalla Shire Council positions Mogo Trails as a symbol of hope and rejuvenation post-bushfire.

Trail Network
The Mogo Trails project features a diverse trail network designed for various skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders. With over 130 km of trails, once completed, you’ll need more than a day to explore them all thoroughly. The network design includes a mix of bike park-style gravity trails, which utilise the natural slope of the land to create a downhill experience with features like jumps and banked turns, and cross-country trails, offering something for every rider. Completed trails are mapped on Trailforks.
Safety Measures
The project team behind Mogo Trails has made safety a top priority, ensuring a fun and worry-free experience for all. Riders will be encouraged to get to know the colour-coded trail grades that align with their skill level. Thanks to well-marked routes, comprehensive emergency plans, and thorough safety protocols, every visitor can look forward to a safe and enjoyable adventure on the trails.
