Visual Arts students from Batemans Bay and Moruya High Schools will come together on Wednesday 15th November to celebrate with an exhibition of their Bodies of Work at the Batemans Bay Visitor Centre.

The students spend twelve months developing their ideas, choosing materials and techniques, honing their artmaking skills and producing their final artworks as part of their HSC Visual Arts course. The themes and approach to making vary considerably among the students. They can choose from a range of forms including painting, sculpture, printmaking, photomedia, textiles, time-based forms to name a few.

Every year students produce new and original artworks that reflect their views of the world and the many influences that affect their choices in the production of their work. Exhibiting the artworks in a gallery provides an excellent opportunity for our local high school students to connect with their community and communicate their ideas through visual media.

Join us for the opening of the exhibition at 6.00pm on Wednesday 15th November. Everyone is welcome.
