Day 3: Snorkelling at Bar beach south

If you haven’t tried snorkelling before now is your opportunity. Narooma’s Bar Beach South is naturally enclosed and its protected position near the mouth of the Wagonga Inlet is further enhanced by the break-wall at its northern end. The beach is enclosed by netting and its sheltered position makes the beach popular not only with novice snorkellers but divers as well. Close to Bar Beach South is Apex Park which has a playground and covered picnic tables, barbecues and plenty of parking. Go for a walk along the break wall and check out Australia Rock and you may also see fur seals sunning in the afternoon.
