Mt Gulaga (Mt Dromedary) Walk

Mount Gulaga.

Mt Gulaga: This mountain is powerful and important for Aboriginal people but especially to Yuin women of the south coast. An extinct volcano, Gulaga rises 806 metres above sea level. Walk the Tilba Track west from Pam's Store at Tilba Tilba. Picnic facilites, bus toilets are available at The Saddle. South from The Saddle the track at times descends before reaching the rainforest section, the spiral upwards to the summit. Stay on the track, show respect and take plenty of water.

Time: 4 - 5 hours return, Length: 11kms
Grade: Steep, strenuous
Access: Travel 20 south from Narooma, past Central Tilba turn-off, along the Princes Highway. Next turn right is to Tilba Tilba. On left is Pam's Store, parking next door.
