Batehaven to Cullendulla wetlands
Enjoy the salty air as you ride along the foreshore cycle path from bustling Batehaven and Batemans Bay, then cross the big bridge to the north side and use the local streets to access the boardwalks and tracks to ride to the tranquil wetlands on Cullendulla Creek. While you're enjoying the wonderful views of Batemans Bay you'll also be amongst pockets of rare coastal rainforest in this protected nature reserve. Listen out for the haunting whispers of the gentle casuarinas and look out for the grey and river mangroves, which are an unusual mix in the area. The creek is also a Batemans Marine Park sanctuary - a fish nursery for the magnificent Clyde River and the wetlands are home to waders, gliders and other amazing animal and bird life.
